I think that logically (or something like that) they can't get to you any way cause yr just a passenger, or even just one guy amongst the crowd. But I've heard storys in here before of guys getting busted along with the racers cause they standed there.
Here in my country I know the cops wouldn't do it cause they have never dealt with such facts and they are basically ver correct in what they do, with a little bit of sympathie they won't even look at the crowd.

But hey, that's off course in my country

Re: Goin to the races on saturday.

depends. If you live in a major city, you will most likley be ticked also. But, if you live in a tiny town where street racing isnt very popular (well...compared to SoCal and New Kent Virginia [my town]), you shouldnt have much of an issue.

Re: Goin to the races on saturday.

Just standing at a race watching can get you a ticket. If you're walking down the street...and happen to stumble upon an organized street race and the cops break it up..and you just happen to be there..they CAN give you a ticket.

They'll be too busy booking people that actually have cars there to care about just people standing there i think..

Re: Goin to the races on saturday.

C'mon man, who cares? we both know either way your going to go, so it doesn't really matter. quit worrying about a ticket and just enjoy the races. if the cops do come just jump back in the car you came in. seems to me you would get in less trouble riding shotgun with a friend than running around like a chicken with its head cut off. like i said, just have fun the pigs ruin your weekend.

how the hell can they ticket u for watching? that is the stupidest thing i ever heard of..

anyways i tested out the maxima a lil tonight with acceleration..

we have this road that not too many people come on and we have it marked at a certain spot.

my sentra hit about 62 at the spot i wanna say.. i think with powerbrake
the maxima hit 70.. without powerbraking it
the maxima didnt spin the tires as bad as i thought it would

They can bust you just for watching cause its the law! street racing is illegal so if you participate you get busted. YES, watching is participating. now you get your ass to that street race and you take your goddam car and be a man about it aight! no wusing out bro, if it get busted up you run like hell, cops will go for the slower cars so make sure your one of the faster ones out!
nahh I'm kidding around about the last part there, be safe out there and have fun.
