new latch;interior lights

i just had a new latch put on my drivers side and now when i use the remote to lock my door the lights come on instead of go off. i think this is kind of wierd what could have caused this. just curious i don't think i am going to do anything about it unless it is something major.

Check to see if both doors are locking or if one is locking and the other is unlocking. They may have reversed the wires on the lock actuator motor.
