Cops harassing! Ugh... Long but good, sorry!

So, I've got a decently nice house that I'm renting. They built it brand new when I moved, so I was the first in. Me and my 2 roommates threw a few parties. We've got a lot of friends and people just seem to show up constantly at our place. It's just the kind of people we are and the kind of people we associate with. I swear to god I can wake up any given day of the week and not be surprised to walk out and have somebody sleeping on my couch. NOT every day, just any given day. We like to keep it loose, so I never turn down friends coming over to drink or stay if they've got a problem with a girlfriend, parents, etc.
I built a bar in our garage, cuz I'd always wanted to do that(I'll take some pics and post em' up hopefully tomorrow), spent a good lot of money, made a 'fridgerated keg, draft tower, got some mirrors and neons, etc. Dropped about $200 to stock it, even made a nice drink list. So while it was being built, we had a few parties. We might host 2 a month, anywhere between 150-200 people every time. But when i finally finished it, we had a cristening party. I got 3 kegs and a DJ, who was a personal friend. Out of respect, even though it's dominantly a college neighborhood, I went door to door and made sure all the neighbors were OK with it, gave 'em my biz. card so they could call me if it was too loud or anything... So the party was a lot bigger than I'd expected and a bunch of high school kids showed up too. Not a big fan of all that, but I wanted to make some money. So bartending, I just made sure to watch the kids so if they were getting too blazed I'd make sure to work something out with them. This kid I'd known a long time ago, very very annoying, comes drunk, brings his own gallon of captian. He had 1/4 of it and passed out in my bathroom, scratched the hell out of my wall falling then pissed himself. Someoen got me, I checked the kids pulse (faint), and had one of his friends drag him to the couch. Left him for 10 minutes and then checked it again. So it was obvious he had alcohol poisoning, NOT off my alcohol so I wouldn't have seen it. So I told his friends he had AP, and they would do one of 3 things: take him to the hospital, chance taking him home, or one of them could stick their fingers down his throat and make him throw up and hopefully he'd ragain consciousness. I told them they'd either decide or I'd take him to the street. I don't want anyone dying in my house. I left, they didn't do shit, so I took him to the street, stuck his own fingers down his throat because hie friends were bitches, made him throw up, he regained consciousness thank god then fell face first into his own puke in the street. I was pissed that I had to take care of it after I told his friends what to do, so I told them to take him home. Instead, they called his mom to come pick him up. Mommy saw him all nawzed up, puke and piss everywhere, was pissed at us and called the cops. I had everything perfectly. And what does she do? Her kid got drunk off his own alcohol shes pissed at me. Whatever. I didn't know any of this till a week later. But I left to get another keg at 11:30 cuz mine was empty and im almost home I get 30 phone calls at once saying the cops were there. If I was THERE I would be HAPPY to take blame, talk to them, say I've gto people's keys, etc. But I wasn't there, I had a full keg in my back seat and was with an underage kid. That's a lotta trouble round here. So i told a few of my close friends what to do, tehy did it and avoided trouble. But my landlord got called (who by the way is the police SEARGENT head of major crimes here), he was real pissed, they called me, i went to another party with my friend. We, by all right SHOULD have been evicted. There's no doubt about it. He should have evicted us. so I stayed away from the place for 2 days and came back, figuring that monday I'd get evicted. I ended up talkign with him and he just said no more parties where the cops get called; it reflected bad on him. Obviously. So I agreed and promised not to. But see another police seargent, Roger something, OWNS the land my landlord built on. And people came the day after the party (nobody knows if it was party-related or not) and trashed the neighborhood. stole a car, broke windows, broke into cars, broke windshields, egged cars, they put pepto bismol on my roommates car whatver... so then my landlord calls and says this seargent is HELLA PISSED and to watch my ass. Cuz the whole street we're on always throws parties and this guy HATES US. so sure nuff the next day he's sitting in front of our house writing ticktes for ANYTHING he can, parking in front of mailboxes, parking on the wrong side of the street, parking too far away from curb, anything. Then he left and came back with 2 more squad cars and they all three sat in front of our house from 11:00 to 2:00 AM. We stood out front smoking while he stood BITCHING to the other two cops OPENLY about us knowing we could hear him just BITCHING. he blamed us for the breaking into cars and a few families that had lived nearby wanted to get out of their leases b/c it's a college neighborhood. Before I knew he ws the guy that owned the stuff, i had asked him if my friends car was ok where it was parked, to see what he'd say. because i figured he was cracking down after that party. And he bitched at me "im cracking the whip, taking the gloves off, blablabla..." he knew who i was, but not vice versa till the next day. and i just laughed it off and was like 'whatever big guy blow me" cuz i didn't figure he could do shit and he was cutting real dick tickets to people that had nothing to do with it. Most of the time I'd respect a cop but this guy was fucking with EVERYONE cuz he was pissed at us and two other houses. So my friend up the street walked to the cop car while he was writing a ticket a few days later and asked if his car was ok the cop was like 'no it's nto and heres a ticket for it, and heres a ticket for jaywalking cuz you walked up to my car asshole." my friends real mellow he's just like ok and the sargeant just went ape shit on him and he's like "i swear to god im gonna put all you motherfuckers in jail so many times you cant afford bail and rent or im gonna give you so many tickets you cant afford rent still. and most of all IM GONNA GET THAT LITTLE MUTHERFUCKER DOWN THERE", talking about me. He wants the whole house but mostly me, which is fucked up. But Im glad hes not after my other roommates cuz it wassnt their faults anyways and I figure I can handle myself. Wouldn't be the first arrest, lol. So while the cops bitching at my friend his next door neighbor walks up and is like 'hey is there a problem around here or something?" jus being courteous the cop blows up at him too. the kid says ok well sorry and it's not us, ya know? but hey if i DO see anything i can call you. do you have a biz. card? and the cop was like "WHAT?! YEAH YEAH YOU WANT MY BADGE NUMBER TOO!? I'm a fucking SAARGEANT, you think you're gonna report me?! YOU CANT TOUCH ME. and on and on..." the kid was serious tho he just wanted to be able to contact the dood and all he did was show respect. the cop throws the card at him and after he left both came down to talk to me about it. So then that cop patrolled and just threw tickets to EVERYONE but we figured the only way to piss him off more was to do NOTHING wrong, so we watched or asses like HELL and almost everyone on the street gets tickets, but not us. So now he's really pissed. he'd been doing things like spotlighting in everyones big front windows at night, on occasion and shit. He's screamed at my landlord for not evicting us n shit, and thank god my landlord's nice he tells us what's doing down so we can watch it, and he only owns our house, so we kinda gotta relay it to everyone else. This was probably 2 months ago when it started and hadn't stopped. A few weeks ago I went to Circuit City drunk, got a Circuit City Credit Card and financed like a bose surround sound system and a 42" TV n shit. lol that's what i get for bein wasted, and i was hooking them up but forgot to get a TV remote, so we went to wal-mart and while we were gone, that cop called 911 on us and said we were playing music incredibly loud and keeping everyone awake and he posed as one of our neighbors. But our next door neighbors (it's a duplex), one of the kids that lives there, our landlord is his DAD. So he has a b&w roll to the house and she doesn' tknow which side of the house it is, so she goes to the other side, where they're all playing caps and drinking. they're all 20 n underage and she just walks into the house, no probable cause, nothing. very illegal for cop to do. cop just gave them a warning and left, so the kid gets pissed and calls his dad, his dad gets real pissed and somebody looks up the 911 call and find out it's for MY house, but while we were gone for the 2 hours, rofl. turns out it's this sargeant trying to fuck us. I had it figured that if i ever DID get in trouble, i coudl get out of it pretty easy. I filed a formal complaint against him for harassing us. They're not gonna do anything about it, but if i get arrested by him or someone he got to do it, i can get out of it cuz theres written record of harassment now. On top of that, he's misappropriating glvernment resources and property for personal gain or in light of personal gain, which is also illegal. I've also got witnesses that can testify that he specifically and explicitly targeted us and me for this shit. So god only knows if it's gonna get uglier. We thought maybe it waas ok for a few weeks but then they came back. I mean you know, you think you get pulled over cuz you got altezza tail lights or a fart can or your subs are pounding or something, but it's crazy when you actually get harrassed. And imagine that, we gotta watch our asses EVERYWHERE too. I'll post up another story in a few days (WILL TOTALLY BE SHORTER THAN THIS) about how I got arrested during this fiasco for the dumbest ass shit you've ever heard of. I'd bet the farm on it. I had to go to court twice over this bullshit, finally got out of it alright, but it was ridiculous and a pain in my ass. NO fun.

Brotha man, what you need is camera's installed around your house. And have you, or your roomates, video tape him when hes out giving out tickets, sitting in front of your house with the spot light or calls in back up for no reason. Get this asshole on video tape. Anytime you talk to him record it. Tape doesn't lie. Keep filing those harassment reports. You need hard core proof of this asshole. Damn your story pisses me off! Good luck.

videocameras with sound also, so that if he says anything harassing, you can get an audio feed on it, so that it won't be a "your word vs. his" kind of situation.what's a damn cop doing owning land that was designated for college student residency...fuckin idiot......hope that fucker gets what he deserves

He didn't know it was gonna be college students in there, and he's pissed about it. My friend up the street from me got a ticket for parking on the wrong side of the road. it didn't take him much convincing to file a report. And that sergeant's only come out there a few times after that party, since then he has cops come by almost nightly, or at least he did for a while, and drive by at least a few times on the party holidays, like New Years. And he had B&Ws go, not him. For a while they'd come by at 9:00 PM and between 1:30 and 2:00 AM and 21 or not, they'd still ticket you for standing on your own front porch with an open beer because of that f'ing open bottle law. And they'll ticket you every damn time. They've towed a few cars parked in front of mail boxes n shit.

I actually did get 2 security cameras for my place. I got $5K worth of DJ eqipment and speakers n shit in my house, and christmas eve someone that was obviously pissed at us drove through my lawn. TWELVE TIMES. They went in, backed out and repeat. They actually took special effort NOT to go into our next door neighbors lawn. So aince then I put a CCTV system with a few cameras watching the property because it was obvious that whoever it was tried to get into the house. How'dja like that? have your house broken into christmas eve and find out christmas day? people are shit.

just save yourself the future headaches, and look at the money you have already had to spend, for the cctv and whatnot.
