Vibration

i have a 2000 gt and i'm having a little trouble. i get a vibration when i am going around a curve to the right. the steering wheel doesn't vibrate and the vibration stops if you let off the accelerator. i replaced the front and rear brakes recently along with new bearings in the front and a new set of tires. could the rear bearings be the cause? maybe motor mounts? open to suggestions

Are you getting any noise? First thing that comes to mind is a problem with a CV Joint.

Re: Vibration

I think it could be your CV Joints and maybe you motor mounts. I had the same problem and I change my strutt mounts and it was still do that, but before I can change the one on the Engine the got damaged. A mechanic who specifically works on pontiac told me that is was the motor mount.

i also have a 2000 gt. exactly the same thing happened to me! accelerate in a turn (doesnt even have to be a sharp turn) and i would get the vibration. fortunately it was still under a used car dealer warranty so i took it to the warranty company's suggested repair shop. they told me it was my front left axel. cost me $100 for the deductible on the warranty and problem fixed!!! good luck.
