shoudl i buy an eclipse?

im looking for a new car and am considering an eclipse, but dont know if its right for me. i test drove a supra that i thought i wanted, but it was too smooth. i got to 60 without realizing it. i decided i want a car like my sentra, just more powerful. a car that feels the road and hits teh bumps, and can take hard turns that youll feel, and i also want something powerful in the low gears since i drive in the city and never really go past 40. 0-30 is more important to me than taking off while going 60. right now im also considering an older celica, 240sx, or a 300z. do you think the eclipse is what im looking for? also, my cousin was going to buy one earlier, but he said he found out they had engine problems or something. does anyone know what he might have meant?

Your car and your money. Buy what you like. If your looking for a 2nd gen eclipse(95-99) your looking for a car that is at least 6 to 10 yrs old. And depending on the mileage it will most likely have 1 or 2 problems. Its all about YOU. And are you willing to iron out those wrinkles.
As far as engine problems go....If the car was maintained then it will last you a long time. If it was "beat up" It probobly aint going to last so long. But that goes with just about any car out there.

But I will tell you what. I love my 99 Spyder GST. I am still happy that I baught it. Owning a DSM is a way of life. HaHaHa Anyone on here will tell you the same.

Re: shoudl i buy an eclipse?

im considering getting a supra as a second car i have a gst i would much rather have a supra over a sentra any day what kind of old celica i had a 91 for my first car i had as many mods as i could do to it and it still wasnt enough my best friend has a 300zx its fun and powerful. but nothing compares to my eclipse it will be mine to the end i wouldnt want a eclipse if it wasnt turbo!
