IAT Sensor..........yeah i know

Anyways, I am having trouble understanding the location of the IAT Sensor location for my 2004 chevy silverado. I am understanding with new info that the sensor is possibly located within the MAF sensor, which i beleve is found just passed the air filter location and just before the air flow duct...... If so, which of the wires would i splice into to wire in air flow modulator, to increase horsepower. I recently purchaed a hurricane F5, and was curious to see if it would really work...
