I have a 2000 Grand Prix and I have been noticing when it rains, water collects on my passenger side carpet (under the floor mat). I'm not certain how the water gets there. I recall someone telling me that a seal might be loose near the windshield. I haven't took anything apart to try and locate where the water is coming from. Has anyone had this same problem?

Re: Water on Passenger Side Carpet
If it only does it when it rains it is probable the seal on the windshield, has the windshield ever been replaced?

Re: Water on Passenger Side Carpet
Check A/C drain. Search for threads "passenger side". Should come up with a ton of threads on it.

In the pic you will see a piece of rubber molding that may start to fall off.The clips get old and no longer hold the 6/8 in strip of rubber molding. That is what GM used to deflect water from getting in to the hvac box and then it leak's on the floor. To fix it clean the aerea that the rubber molding is on , use some 3M yellow window adhisive and place the molding back in place and let dry. That should take care of your problem.
