Fuel Pump Noice

I have a 1988 Lincoln Town Car, and the fuel pump hummed so much almost put you to sleep, garage said that is a sign of it going.
Bought a new one from Napa, and guess what this one humms also more so when cold then warm

Any one have a humming fule pump but knows it is not going bad
