fuel pump not pumping93 s10 blazer

without dropping gas tank, fuse blows when pump harness connected.disconected it does not. continuity ok to ground.Car runs occasionally without blowing fuse. Car has 30,000 miles on it, dealer replaced fuel pump at 12,000 miles. any guesses to look at?

check the wiring making sure there isnt a bare spot somewhere that might be touching or rubbing metal

Take it back to the dealer if within a year.

they have to fix their screwup.
