wiring diagram
I need to know where the tan and blk wire goes out of back of alt.I need a service wiring diagram can any one help me?thanks wayne

The tan/black you ask about shows up as a tan/grn on the diagram.
It goes to pin 3 on the instrument cluster for the alt lite. It is powered from the gages fuse and from the alternator. If the voltage is equal from both sources the lite stays out. If the alt charging voltage drops below battery volts, the lite comes on. JD
