compression on 305cid

what should my cylinder compression be on my 1990 1/2 ton with a 305tbi.I guess what i am asking is what should it be from fresh new engine so that i can compare.thanks much.

150 lbs is around normal for a good stock engine. All cylinders should be really close to same pressure. Under 100, somethings probably not right. Over 200 and you got a RV cam or something. Block throttle wide open and give it four or five hits to check.
