Some Dink In A Kia
some dink in a kia somethin or other was pullin with me on the highway today on my way home from work...
he was revvin somethin awful.......sounded like hell so i slowed down and let him pass me, btw he has a nice golden tip on his pipe... lol....must be like 50hp right there.... and i just laughed the whole way he went by... so i tailed him for a while and then about a mile later decided i would side by side with him ... so i see him drop it into forth... so i just give it some gas and creep by him laughing... i think he was pissed but then again i would be mad if i owned a kia too.... |

I'm surprised the Kia didn't fall apart when he dropped it down a gear. Them things are garbage. Ummm, good kill

haha i hate kias too, i was coming home from church one day and this guy in one tried to race me while he was bumping his system and had 5 people in that little thing. it looked like a damn overstuffed box of cereal about to burst with all those people in it. i looked over at him and laughed.

dont diss the kia yo, im sure its a reliable family car, its just not built for speed thats all. ehehhehe i just dont understand why someone in a kia would try to race, most kias have like 10sec 0-60 times.

Kias have no speed governor on them. They top out at 126mph or something. Probably takes an hour to get there, but eventually a Kia sophia could out run a lot of us out there with governors.

yeah what are you talkin... i've taken my si to 145 and no gov kick in.
same with my old gsr, and my new s2k.. any honda can kill a kia... although it seems that kia is trying to dominate the import market by coming out with smoe kind of crappy imitation real car.. oh well |

How high do Honda governors usually go? I know I can run to 127 in my
*cough* family sedan So If I ever WERE to come across a spirited Kia driver, I would slowly inch away for days. That is of course after the 450 car lengths put between us from 0-127 Heh heh heh. Mr Grocery Mover strikes again!!!

LOL that's the line of the season. Oh yeah there's this guy, he owns a Kia in my town, he has a sticker on the back that says Super Street and a buttload of all the new UNIVERSAL FIT APC products from Autozone... He wanted to race me for money. And then some guy was talking to me and he was all "You know that guy as spent a lot of money, owning that Kia, don't diss it." I was like, "What'd he spend the money on? A therapist to keep him from going insane trying to hit 45 mph?"

thank you , thank you i pride myself on quotes...
but yeah i'm not a huge fan of show.. i'd rather see some go.. but don't get me wrong i love the little things.. like clear headlight housing... and side skirts.. i just don't understand, and maybe someone can help me... since i just moved here to so cal a few months ago, why is it that almost every car out here is lowered, with an exhaust, and has some kinda rims... why are those 3 mods more important to everyone here than anywhere else in the world.. i don't get it.. why does everyone lower their ride.. i mean don't get me wrong again , i love the look and stuff but there are so many dips and bumps and crap here in so cal, and i see so many people ridin around with a slammed car, and a cracked front lip...  guys.. just deal with the height.. its still looks fine, or at least keep it up for drivin and down for shows.. or something.. well whatever, at least they look good right, cause that's all that matters... , and again i love to look good who doesn't but come on guys why break your car just so you can be lower and have all the headlights behind you blind you... i have to admit tho.. although i may not like some of the cars around town or the type or car they are.. some people have done a nice job with their ride.. clean and smooth.. i may not like it or think it's ugly but props to the peeps with ride... cause my car is better than everyone else's just like everyone else's ...lol...

Haha, I feel you on that. Dude, there's a guy here with a 2001 Integra GSR, he has Ground Control Coilovers on it. He just bought a 360.00$ JDM Integra Type R DC Sports header... He cracked it the next day because his car's slammed 3". Everyone tells me "Drop your car drop it!" When I was gonna buy an Integra... "Are you going to slam the Integra?"
I'm like "Okay dude, there's an automatic Kia here dropped, with exhaust and rims... That's bad enough, then he added the Superstreet sticker on the back, accompanied by the ironing board for down force... " And then in California, we don't have dips, we have Civil War trenches...
