S-10 Killed A Wrx Sti

Damn yesterday i was driving and ahead of a me a wrx-sti and a s-10 raced and that s-10 completely killed the sti bad. it didn't look like a race so i caught up with them at the light i honked at the s-10 and asked him to pull over well when he stopped i asked him what he had under his hood he had a supercharged lt4 with the works. i mean this car was a complete sleeper, it looked completely stock.

Definately don't mess with s10's. You can hide just about anything under the hood besides a blower, obviously.

I might be getting a short bed s10 soon and some of my plans consist of getting a 350 small block and doing some sort of FI with it. Makes for a real nice street machine.

That is what I would like to do to my pickup, except I would put an LT1 because of money issue, once the money gets built up. The 4.3 coming out and a SBC is going in...(I HOPE!)

The base 4.3 has shitty hp but if you get the one they used in the typhoons , the vortec edition 4.3 then you can get some serios snap going to those wheels , I threw one in my 91' s-10 ext cab , long bed , 5 speed tranny...god damn..I swear I could burn both back wheels farther than any other car i've had , cept' my camaro now =D

But the 4.3 vortec is a bad motor. It was supposed to produce just as much power as the 350 2 bolt.

I've seen big blocks stuffed in S-10s that were driven to the track, ran a 10 second 1/4 mile, then driven home, all in a stock looking truck. S-10s make wonderful sleepers.
