More 4x4 problems

A few months ago my 4wd stopped working. The 4wheel high doesn't try to engauge at all (no lights no nothing) the 4 wheel low light blinks for a few seconds but never engauges. I have replaced the vaccum lines, cables, encoder or shift motor, and the switch. I would welcome ANY advice on this matter. thanks in advance

Hunter

As it turns out a short in the switch across the 2hi connector will also burn out the tccm. New switch and tccm and I have 4wd back. Thanks to all.

Re: More 4x4 problems

Did you have to replace both parts? Where did you get these parts from?

Re: More 4x4 problems

I have a lot of good parts left over that I didn't need. sort of the trial and error thing. If you can email a list of parts that you need I will try to locate them. [email protected]
