not getting any power to the new cd player
I have my wiring harness and my antenna adapter all set up. I hook it together and do a test and the cd player doesnt turn on. The battery is on. I plug the stock cd player back in and you can hear power getting to it. Heeeeeeeeeelp!! Thanks

Re: not getting any power to the new cd player
You should have a yellow wire(constant +),a red wire(ignition +),and a black wire(-)on your aftermarket cd player. These wires should tie into your aftermarket wire harness which then plugs into your factory wire harness. Some newer vechicles you have to run your own ignition + wire (or constant +)into the fuse box and find somebody in there to connect to.Read your directions and look for the small print.

Re: not getting any power to the new cd player
Its always a good idea to disconect your battery when you hook up anything electrical try checking your fuse boxe even though your hearing the radio get power it could still be your fuse if your fuse is ok try testing the power on your harness by using a ohmm meter or a test light.
