Re: 95 Dodge Dakota Won't start, Help!!!
Well to be honest with you, you might have better luck in a Dodge Dakota forum. Not one for Firebirds. But in regards to your question.. sounds to me like it might be the starter. New ones can put a hefty hole in your wallet.. but you can try your luck at a local junkyard, or even eBay at that.

Re: Re: 95 Dodge Dakota Won't start, Help!!!
Hey Jim, the spark, gas and oil has been checked.
The battery is at full charge. But it won't even try to kick over. Not a click nor a crank. The diagnostic code is 12 which says that the battery has been replaced. And the original diagnostic code won't come up. How can I tell if it's the starter or the ignition? Please help. My Dad has been taking the bus to work. I just started a new job and can't take him. He lives on the other side of town. Thanks Daniel Email: [email protected] Quote:
