87 CRX Si -- Pulley problem!
The very bottom pulley on my car is making one hell of a racket. The bottom nut was loose and it appears to be missing the ball bearings. Well, some of the bearings atleast, it has 8. How many is it supposed to have? Any help would be appreciated.

Re: 87 CRX Si -- Pulley problem!
I think he's talking about the idler pulley for the AC compressor. I don't know how many bearings it is supposed to have, but try and see if you can find one at a junkyard? If not, just try to pack it well with grease and lube it down with some WD-40 if you get real desperate.

Oh, it's okay now. The pulley broke while I was watching it at idle. Yeah, it shot bearings out at me. I took the cheap way out too...it's winter and my AC doesn't work, regardless. So I just cut the belt off. ...
