Re: Front end

Mines is at the shop now getting the front end worked on. But it was my own fault, didnt have any problems until that curb got in my way. What do you need to know? Check out my earlier post...

I just purchased a 2002 4.0. I feel like little things in the steering wheel when I take off and on some cornering. It feels like thinngs are loose and the play comes when there is torque on the system.
I used to have a car that I could feel the brake pad move a bit on take off and braking but this is more like suspension.

Thanks

Re: Front end

try typing the word steering in the search window at the top of the aurora page and im sure you will find some earlier posts that will help you out a great deal or you may even try the word "suspension", or try them both. Hope this helps. I have a 95 and havent had any steering problems "as of yet". Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry I couldnt be of more help

Sounds like you like your car. Any recommendations?

Sorry man I didnt realize we were talking about a NEW Aurora here. The new model Auroras do have steering and front end issued. I know there are a few TSB's out about these problems. Cant remember what exactly , but your dealer will have the info. Go get it checked out because ther are problems. You might even get it fixed for free ???

Re: Front end

Go to the Aurora forum on edmunds.com. I know for a fact the guys there have discussed the issue in depth. If you search you should find what you are looking for. Sorry I dont know where to get the TSB info myself. I know it entailed lubrication of the steering rack and popping noises ect........
