Unhappy Help!!just Bought 99 Rodeo;car Shakes When I Accelerate

I Just Purchased A 1999 Isuzu Rodeo Ls About Two Months Ago. It Has About 84,000 Miles On It And I Have Not Had Any Problems With It, Until Yesterday. I Went To Start My Car And I Noticed That The Check Engine Light Stayed On Once The Car Was Started. I Also Noticed That After It Had Started It Felt Like The Engine Was Shaking. I Turned The Car Off And Restarted It, And It Almost Didnt Start. The Weather Here Was A Little Colder Yesterday, But Ive Already Driven The Vehicle In The Snow And It Did Just Fine. So, As I Was Driving Home, I Noticed That When I Am Stopped And I Start To Accelerate The Car Is Very Jerky. This Also Happens When I Am About To Come To A Complete Stop. Along With This, I Also Noticed That I Have To Push Harder On The Gas Pedal For It To Accelerate Even To Just 30 Mph. It Still Goes Faster Than That But It Seems Like I Have To Put More Pressure On The Pedal That Usual....does Anyone Have Any Ideas As To What This Could Be? And How Easily And Cheaply It Could Be Fixed? Keep In Mind That I Am A Girl So When You Reply Please Try To Make Things Somewhat Understandable For Me!!! Lol!!

Since you are getting a Check Engine Light, bring your vehicle to Autozone and they can scan your vehicle for "FREE". Just don't give out your phone number j/k
Once they scan your vehicles' computer, it should give you what part or sensor that is failing and narrow the problem quickly.

I would check the ignition systems like the spark plugs, etc. Clogged catalytic converter could cause the vehicle to have power loss and you have to push the gas pedal just to keep going at a higher speed.

Could be low or leaking tranny fluid. This will make the car shake until you get out of first gear. Check those codes.

Here are the main possibilities:
Leaking fuel pressure regulator:

Bad intake manafold:

Electrics are messed up (this is my guess). If you still have the OEM battery change it. Isuzu do funky things with weak batteries and alts.

Finally I could be as simple as water in the gas tank (add some of that iso-heet junk) or a plug fuel filter

I would start with the electrical first, then go to the fuel filter. But the first thing would be to get that code read. Head to the Zone! AutoZone ...

Could also be a bad coil pack.

Sounds like a vacuum leak....intake manifold gasket maybe. Other than that, it could be a coil pack or the plug wires.

Like previously posted, you have to start by reading the OBDII codes. As a blind guess, I would say 1) EGR is stuck wide open, 2) Intake manifold gasket has a massive leak. If your check engine light is *flashing* on/off, you have a misfire, which is typically a bad coil or sparkplug.
G/luck
