range for remote starter
My wife and I bought a G35 sedan about two years ago and foolishly had the dealer insall a remote starter with it. It works with the Infiniti key fob. The range on this thing sucks! You have to be pretty much on top of the car for it to work. At that point, What's the purpose of having a remote starter? we took it to the dealer and they just said that the batteries were weak in the fob so they replaced them. It didn't help at all.
So, my question is, Does anybody know how to increase the range? Is there some way I can extend the antenna for the reciever inside the car? Does anybody know where it's located? Am I just screwed? |

Re: range for remote starter
Its like buying the Navi System. its a ripoff.
i dont think theres a way. Ask your dealer again, or just not use it. God forbid you should have to step into your car to start it. Finally, i said it. |
