Instrument Panel Lights

Help! I'm working on my girlfriend's 1995 Cavalier. The Instrument Panel lights will not go out after it is started. I was wondering what may cause this and has anyone else ever had this happen to their cavalier. Thanks a lot for your help.

What did you do to the car? Stereo? recheck wire connections and make sure none are crossed

Re: Instrument Panel Lights

I haven't actually started yet. It is actually the lights around the speedometer. LIke the check engine, brake, all of the lights are light up, like before you start a car and all of the lights light up. I was wondering what could cause all of the lights to stay on. Thanks a lot
