gti turbo

how much boost can i get out the stock or will have to buy a bigger turbo?

on the 1.8T engine? I know of a guy with a Jetta 1.8T pushin at least 13 psi I'm thinkin it's more like 18 psi though.

yes ive heard of 18 PSI, but ive also heard of blowing engines at 18 PSI.

here ya go! got ahold of the guy, he's got a '03 Black Jetta WE.

-Chip (Apr w/ special 100 octane program)
-3" custom exhaust (not cats, hidden dump, hemi resonator)
-Lightweight FW
-Aftermarket clutch
-poly motor mounts
-CAI

--Boost--
-spikes @ 21-22psi
-holds at 17-19psi in 93 octane program
