91 CRX B15 to B18 swap.

Hey i was wondering im swaping a 90 honda prelude SI B18 automatic to a CRX that had a 5 speed maunual and A B15 in it. I was wondering what do i have to get else to complete the swap. Thanks for the help.

#1 not worth the trouble
#2 why go from 5 speed to auto
#3 no such thing as a b15

I'm sure it could be done, but honestly imo it would be more trouble than it is worth. Try the search though, you might have some luck. Welcome to the family.

i think he meant just take the motor that used to be auto and stick it on his manual tranny, but that doesnt matter, your existing tranny wont bolt up to any b-series engine. and its not even worth it, the engine you are refering to i think is the b21, the red headed step child. find a b18 with manual tranny out of a teg, youll be happy with the results

Hye thanks for the help.

The engien i reffered to as the B15 which i could be wrong is the stock 1.5 liter engine 16 valve motor out of the CRX. So the transmissions wont bolt up and yes im making the auto to manual. Thanks
For the help. does anyone knwo where i could find a DOHC motor fo rthe CRX with a Maunual TRanny for a good price.

Try www.hmotorsonline.com you should go for a zc or a b16a for your crx if your lookin for sumthin cheap.
