Wire In Parallel?
Ok I have 2 400w rms subs @ 4ohm. The amp I was recomended and purchased is 400w x 1 @ 4ohm, 800w x 1 @ 2ohm. I was told I would need to wire the subs in Parallel. Is this true? Anyone have any links to diagrams or anything?

Re: Wire In Parallel?
basically if theyre single voice coil subs.. which im assuming they are, you will wire the positives together and the negatives together from each sub.. and then connect to the amp.. this will drop your final impeadence to 2 ohms and youll be getting your 800 rms (im assuming its rms) to the subs which will be split and each will get 400 watts. ill post a link to wiring diagrams in a minute
