which one should i get

i was wanting if it is worth it getting a gti turbo or the civic si?
which one is better to upgrade and obiviously which one is faster in stock and in the long run.

they're about the same power stock. The GTI is more expensive to heavily upgrade but you can get it into the 14's cheaper than the SI since it already has a turbo. The SI has lots of cheap bolt ons but they won't make the car much faster, to get the SI into low 14's it will cost you a few grand. The GTI is heavier but I still wouldn't give the handling edge to the SI. I would drive both and see which one you like more.
