Need help on how to wire my subs?

I recently purchased http://www.cardomain.com/item/ABNA8000T amp and http://www.cardomain.com/item/ABNABP12T enclosed subs.

The specs for the subs:
# Size: 12 inch
# Sensitivity: 92.1 dB
# Frequency Response: 24-1000 Hz
# Recommended RMS Power: 400W
# Peak Power Handling: 800W
# Impedance: dual 4 ohms (two 4-ohm terminals can be wired together for a single 2-ohm load)

Amplifier Specs:
* Amplifier Type: Mono
* RMS Power: 400W x 1 @ 4 ohms
* THD at 4-Ohm RMS Power: 0.02%
* RMS Power: 800W x 1 @ 2 ohms
* Speaker Level Inputs: Yes
* Preamp Outputs: Yes
* Built-In Crossovers: LP
* Bass Boost: 0 - 18 dB
* Frequency Response: 10-40,000 Hz
* Signal to Noise Ratio: > 100 dB
* Fuse Rating: 2 x 30 amps

It says that the two 4-ohm terminals can be wired together for a single 2-ohm load. I wanted to know how would i do that?

Re: Need help on how to wire my subs?

Please don't spend your money on that crap. If you really have that kind of money to spend on a system you can get something a whole lot nicer than that. Audiobahn has SOME decent subs and they get extremely loud but they have no sound quality and if you just want to be loud and have that kind of money go with Kicker.

Look at brands like
Resonant Engineering: www.reaudio.com
Elemental Designs: www.edesignaudio.com
Adire Audio: www.adireaudio.com

Elemental Designs is the only of those companies to make amps, and their amps are awesome. They all have awesome subs. For you I would suggest an Elemental Designs nine.1 and a set of two RE SX's. That should be about the same price and it will sound 10 times better. I wish I had the money to buy that system. Although you will still need a box. You would be best off building your own. It's not that hard once you do a little reading on it. But if you must buy a pre-fab box www.ikesound.com has some cheap boxes.

my friend i had cardomain price match. I got the subs for $160 and the amp for $170.

Here's the link i used to have it price matched 105%. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/viewitem.php?id=88
and
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/viewitem.php?id=72

Furthermore, i already have the Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1 which i also had pricematched for $210 and if anyone wants, i can give you the code to use. Also, i have Infinity Kappa 693.5 for the rear.

Overall, my car's speakers as of now are crystal clear. The only thing lacking is bass and i just wanted something that will last me about six months after which i plan to buy some Infinity perfect 12.1VQ's.
