Well I have to get rid of my car (F/S 1991 Probe GT).

well i hate to do it and i dont know how you people can sell your beloved car but its my turn,

its a 91 probe gt turbo atx tranny, 162k on the motor and tranny, it needs a turbo rebuild, the seals are going, and it smokes alot at idle once it moves it runs great, im asking 700 w/o the hks ssqv and gauges and headlights/bulbs, if you want everything its gona be 1000, the car run strong, and moves quick, the comp test is good 160 160 120 160 in the cylds, i always maintain my car, im the thrid owner, the body is in great condition, very clean and nice, white, with factory 3 spokes rims sprayed gunmetal, it not a ugly car its decent looking, im gona miss the car to death, it has tons of torque ask TAT2 he know the car, the car is strong and has decent power for what it is, idont want to get rid of it but i keep spending cash into it and i cant afford to anymore.


i dont want to let it go but i have to, this sucks,

not that big of a deal but the main problem is the seal on the turbo... it still sucks

160 160 120 160? I thought the Probe GT was a v6? where are the other two cylinders?
It sucks you gottan let go of it, put it on auto trader and it'll sell fast. so what now? you gonna get a new car or get off the tunner wagon?

The first gen Probe GT's (89-92) were 2.2L 12v turbo 4's. Though Ford claimed otherwise, having ownes a 91 PGT and running it on track (road courses) against the V6 PGT's, the earlier ones had better straight line speed stock. They didn't handle nearly as well as the newer ones, though.

^what he said, im estimate the car will do a hi 14's 1/4 mile, its fast for what it is, you can basically pick on any honda thats not mood fully and win, im gona miss the car dearly, tommorow i start removing the bov and gauges and other things that i wana keep...

next car i dont know yet.. i have an idea but its gona be kept quite for now, ill say what it is if i get it...

where are you located? my gf's car may be totalled (entirely not her fault) and she's only looking to spend some $$ on a car and a weld won't be too hard to fix since my friends do turbo stuff everyday pm me if you wanna sell

BTW she lives at my house so i'll make sure she takes good care of it, just let me know any quirks on tuning/modifying and i'll make sure its all good
