Need some help on tires!!

I've heard good things about both of these tires, but it would be great if any of you guys have had em or just gave me some input. Thanks!

These: Kumho Ecsta MX 205/50/15

The Ecsta MX optimizes dry handling without compromising wet grip with advanced silica compounding and a distinctive tread pattern developed by synergizing the latest technological concepts from competition and aircraft. The Ecsta MX is best suited for the sophisticated driver that demands maximum ultra high performance for the street.

or

These: BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW 205/50/15

Incredible dry traction with unflappable wet weather control. Long treadlife. Smooth, quiet ride. In sizes that make it the perfect choice for most of today's hottest sports coupes, sedans, and sport trucks.

If you have another tire that you live by please post it, I need something with very good dry traction. I can spin my Bridgestone 205/17's Fuzions easily. I need something sticky as hell.

Re: Need some help on tires!!

G forces!
My friend went to the thing where they let people drive cars with G forces and .... pole positions (cant remember who makes em) Well he drove an RSX with both and he couldnt get traction for shit with the pole positions and with the G's he got as much as he wanted. He said he took a turn goin pretty fast and took out a bunch of cones bc he started sliding and the pro driver with him was like "well there go some cones"

Re: Need some help on tires!!

The best gripping street tires I'v ever had were Sumitomos, they were silica base like those Kumhos. I have a set of kumho's but have only driven on them a few times and they did not seem like they got much traction, but they havnt been broke in good. I'v never used the gforces but I have read they are pretty good. Also any slica base tire isnt going to last very long from my experiences because they are really soft, but they grip good.

Re: Need some help on tires!!

i get all kinds of bridgestone/firestone tires to try out cuz my grandmother is a head accountant for the company. the ones that have impressed me the best for traction AND durability were falken azzenis. the g-forces work amazing but wear out fast. if your getting them just for the track those are the ones to get....going for street/everyday get falkens...thats my two cents

Re: Need some help on tires!!

bu that is the thing, this time you don't pay shit and get a hole hell of a lote. i had them on my integra and the first time i raced with them i hit my nos right out the hole (first gear) and no burn out, it locked up and went. now if you have bad camber they will not last very long, very soft tire, but they do realy well in the rain to. for $49.00 they are worth just trying out and see if you like them.
