adding power locks

We just purchased a 2005 astro 2wd cargo van for the business.

It did not come with power locks (a must have), The alarm guy said the front doors and back door are not a big deal but he didn't know if he could rig the sliding door to work since you cannot run wire to a sliding door.

I told him that there is a hole for the contact switches to go and the wire is there behind the plastic cover on the frame part it is just terminated.

There is also wire going into the rear door.

I am assuming that the actuators are already there if the wire is there, am I wrong??

Also were could I buy the switches for the sliding door, any other things I need etc??

I am sure one of you has the inside scoop on why this comes prepped for all of this stuff, thanks!

There are contact points that only work when the door is closed, If this van is used for work, and your storing tools, you want to consider dead bolts, My 99 came with this system already installed, they work great, and if somoene pulls the lock cylender out they cant open the doors.

Find a place that specializes in outfitting work vans...also I would check around a little, I think an experienced alarm guy would have known about the contacts
