Experienced Ones
I have a 93 Cherokee base model with automatic trans and 4.0. I do not have intermittent wipers. I have noticed that my wipers have a tendancy to run at variable speeds and also at variable sweep lengths. They always run but seem to have a mind of their own. The variance in speed and sweep length seem to have nothing to do with any other aspect of the vehicles operation: The erratic behavior is just as likely to occur while traveling down the freeway or while stopped at a light. I assume that something is about to fail and was wondering if anybody out there has had a similar experience and a possible remedy? Thanks for any help. Wayne |

Re: erratic wiper behavior
check for electrical connection corosion and lube the pivot points. Both no cost fixes. It sound like the motor is still doing its part.
