99 F150 4.2l V-6 Automatic
i've got a ton of questions about this truck i just bought. any help you guys can give will be greatly appreciated.
what are the specs for this truck?? horsepower?? torque?? gas tank size (how many gallons)?? how do i know if it's a styleside or flareside?? anybody an easy way to change the headlights without messing with the front end?? does this truck have ABS?? would a borla exhaust and a k&n fipk be a good set up??

I can answer one of your questions. This truck should have ABS because I have the 97 version and it has ABS.
My ABS isn't working however I'm not sure why and I don't really care as long as I can stop. |

Not sure about the 99 but the 01 4.2L has 250 HP. Its a stlyeside if the bed is straight all the way back if there is a step right behind the cab on the bed its a flareside.

'99 has the same setup as the '00 / '01 / '02 / '03.... it's 205 hp... with the composite intake.
25 gallon gas tank yes it has ABS no iit won'r screw anything up replacing the headlights. FYI remember to line up your headlights when/if you take them out and replace them. If not they'll look dim to the driver and/or blind the car in front of you |
