Electric Window
My driver's side electric window sometimes will not
go back up . I have to wait and I fiddle around with stuff and it will eventually work. I'm not sure the fiddling is helping or the waiting. This prob. might seem insignificant but it was snowing the other day when it happened and I could see the potential for trouble. Anybody have similar prob. to share before I start bustin stuff up trying to get at it? Thanks |

Re: Electric Window
there is a circuit braker built into the window motor
thats wy you have to wait a few seconds for it to start again, to let it cool off. the only fix is to replace the motor. or live with it. |

Re: Electric Window
Thanks, I can live with that for now. I was just paranoid it might stay down on me. That could
be bad at this time of year. I'm in PA. |

Re: Electric Window
I have aftermarket electric windows and I had the same issue. It was just the switch. I was able to take it apart and clean the contacts. It's been working fine for over 2 years.

I haven't taken it apart yet but I have noticed it only does this
when I accidentaly interrupt the "window goes rest of way down by itself mode". I've learned not to do that and haven't had a prob. since. |
