Gone in a flash :(

Hi Everyone,

I'm writing today, to hopefully, find an answer. Aside from my 2000 GP being a heap of ashes . Could anyone please tell me if there have been any recalls for electrical problems, igniting in or around the license plate area or trunk.

It's now been deemed a write off, beyond repair

Any answers or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Ma

Thanks everyone for the posts.

Hi Larry,

Yes the fire department responded to the call. I had "just" parked in the driveway next to the house, so they weren't too long in arriving. No, unfortunately, there was no explanation given and still no word from the insurance company. The adjustor's been here and gone and nothing else yet....

Re: Gone in a flash :(

Take a lot of pictures. Then check recall list for GM, even Buick and Chevy. If you find anything, let GM know. Then do what you have to do.
Again, I'm sorry for your loss.
