Wind shield washer pump death & question?

HI all,

I have a 1998 Grand Prix GTP 3.8 ltr., and recently the washer pump died, no pump noise, nothing.

Does anyone know where the pump is located, and also which fuse box, holds it's fuse, (glove box, or under hood), also which fuse it is.

The cars fully loaded, lots of fuses, but no mention of which fuse controls the pump in the manual, although it details all the fuses and what each ones for.

Thanks for any help.

I believe the pump should be in bottom of washer jug. One thing you might want to consider with the cool weather is if you don't use it fairly frequently, perhaps it is froze at the nozzles (even if you use the anti-freeze washer)

I have the same problem in a 1997 Grand Prix. The pump is actually attatched right to the side of the fluid container. I bypassed the fuse box (wired the battery straight to the pump) and the pump went and sprayed all over. So I know the pump is fine, but I, like you, have found that the manual is useless on what fuse the pump is under. I'll let you know if I find anything else.

Good luck
