XLR-V Spyshots

Found a couple pictures of the new XLR-V, apparently it's supposed to be out around '06-'07.

400 horsepower Cadillac in the works

General Motors Corp.'s performance group has been testing a variety of future Cadillacs with specially modified engines and suspensions, all to be marketed as part of the brand's V-series.

Among them is a performance edition of Cadillac's current XLR roadster (priced around $76,000) that is expected to be fitted with a high-output, supercharged 4.2-liter V-8 producing around 400 horsepower. The V-Series edition XLR is expected to be available with prices starting at $82,000.

The XLR-V, which may be introduced as a 2006 model, also will get additional suspension modifications, as well as 20-inch performance tires on 10-spoke wheels. A unique hood and grille will further identify this special model. Limited edition colors are likely to follow as is the case with Cadillac's V-Series CTS performance sedan.
