fuel problem

When I start ny car, the rpm's go up to 2000 and then in a matter of seconds the rpm's dive down and the car dies almost like a stall. I was wonderiong if anyone knew what the problem is. I have asked some other people they said maybe injectors, fuel pump, or fuel filter. I was just wanted to get some more opinions. Thanx for any help.

Re: fuel problem

Turn the key to the "on" postition and listen for the fuel pump to run. Sounds like a humm. Check for kinks in the fuel line. Check your fuses. Clean the MAFS. When is the last time you replaced the fuel filter? Try that stuff.

And make sure the IAAV valve hose isn't blocked or anything. Its the larger one coming from the intake manifold and connecting to the intake.
