Curb Check @ 30mph

Well tonite we had freezing rain which made the roads like the icescapades, and i had the bright idea to go to a parking lot and yank the e-brank at 30mph, which I have done for the last three years with no accidents. But tonite was different, I underestimated the power of ice on bald tires. I tried to drift around a corner in the parking lot, but i kept sliding sideways, and kept sliding until a cement curb stopped me. I tried to drive away but I started sliding all over the place, got out and checked my tires only to find that both passenger side wheels were buckled under my car, not completely buckled under but bent pretty bad. Had my Dad pick me up and when i got home I called my buddy to tell him what happened. He tells me that he knows a guy who is selling a 90 Dx, with 90,000 miles and a 91 crx.... For $500!!! package deal. So tomorrow i'm going to check the cars out, i'll tell you tomorrow if i buy them. And I should have pictures of my car too by tomorrow.

Re: Curb Check @ 30mph

ever seen footage of what a mere 5mph collision does to an average car? it's ridiculous, depending on what part gets hit and all.

sorry bout yr car. but uh....

Re: Curb Check @ 30mph

My parents wouldn't ask what happened if I did that to their car. They would just kill me.
