Unhappy S-10 88: Engine goes off

Hello,
I have an 88 S-10 Blazer 4X4 (2 Door). Last friday I was driving home when suddenly the engine started shaking (like missing the beat). I felt a lost of power and in 2 red lights the motor stopped working. At higher speeds this was not a problem. None of the indicators turned on. Anyway I made it home.

Now there is not problem starting the engine, but after 30 to 60 seconds the engine goes off. Any ideas?.

Thank you and please Please excuse my english.

Re: S-10 88: Engine goes off

about 90% of the dead chevy's i've seen died because of the fuel pump or the wiring that goes to the pump. if you wanna be 100% sure hook up a pressure gage to make sure the fuel system is the problem. other parts such as the fuel pump relay and oil pressure switch can stop the pump from running. the pump is located in the tank so it's not a nice job to change it.

I was thinking about spark plugs, but this make more sense. I guess there is nothing I can do myself to fix it. Thank you for your reply.
