Re: 1988 ford mustang :D

Looks good but 2 things make it look toony. 1. the ellipses 2. the roof slants down towards the front

Re: 1988 ford mustang :D

Your speed of improvement is breathtaking... ;-)
I like the shading on the windows and the headlights. To improve your drawings, I'd concentrate on proportions. And the wheels. Damn, stupid wheels. Well I shouldn't give advice for wheels,'cause mine look terrible sometimes.
Isn't it strange that the both of us, coming from Germany, are drawing so many US cars? I just started a Viper...

Re: 1988 ford mustang :D

thx for comments !

@stuffbyalex
maybe i should try to draw some cartoons , just for fun .. ill see .

@knightvision
i think the reason why we germans like american cars sooo much is , because the german cars look so ... "boring" , and they dont have so much horsepowers like U.S. , i mean ... i have never seen a american car wich had a engine with less than 2,5litres 8) .

Re: 1988 ford mustang :D

spend some time before you start to draw loosening up. Draw ovals overlapping ovals and ellipses all over a page. Try to get your arm into the motion.

You will find with practice that your arm will remember much like a belt on a car. I actually run my arm through the motin a couple times before I ink. Just like a golfer before he putts.

And here ladies and gentlemen, we have artistic representations of two of the ugliest cars in the history of automotive production.

Re: 1988 ford mustang :D

Toon looks nice. Has some perspective issues, and I would say try and clean up the lines- spend more time on it in general. ther than that, theyre nice.

And yes Lemmy, we are...
