The Club what do you guys think of it?

Im getting my car back tomorrow night unless the engine does not start =) anywho I have to go somewhere sat where I really feel weird about having my car there its kinda a bad area

I want to put switch on my fuelrelay so if anyone trys to start it up it will but then stall out after a few secs also Im thinking of getting the club
the relay wont happen till later but for now I can go and get a club tomorrow do you guys know if its easy to get keys for or if a torch will cut thu it with out to much hassle?

you can see my gauge pods/boost gauge and so on so I really feel wierd about having it sit around anywhere bad but some times you have to

Dude, do you seriously like not watch the news? Like so 10 years ago they already came to the conclusion that The Club is a worthless piece of crap because all someone has to do is make a single cut in your steering wheel and then just slide the club out and off they go with your car... DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY... If your just gonna throw money away like that, at least send it to me and ill send you something cool :smoka:

and yeah it needs to be painted hey if you want to stay away from stuff like that don't buy JDM stuff long list of broken parts
but the pictures they show you before you buy are great looking =) ohwell thats life I guess

The Auotlock is much more effective than the club.

if your car is worth stealing, thieves would either; bend the steering wheel to take off the clublock or; take the whole steering wheel off

get an alarm with engine immobiliser and fuel cut off switch.
park in a brightly lit street and make sure u can see it from your bedroom window.
invest in a dog that mauls its victims

dog might work well but then it wolud mess up my seats and eat my little cow thats in the back.... hmmm and knowing all my luck the rubbers under the seat too..... maybe I can train my cat to watch over it then all I have to do is vac the car out since she has alot of hair that likes to cling to stuff

what does a good over all alarm system run for? I miss having a stock DX becuase I never cared.... did I just bottom out on that speed bump? yup... cool lets do it again lol

Yup... get the AutoLock. Just got mine a few weeks ago. I payed about 40-45 bucks for it but it's cool. It is designed similar to the club... but it goes vertically from the floor of your car up to about the bottom of the steering wheel. It attaches either under your clutch (for a manual transmission) or your brake pedal (for automatics)... and it locks it in place so that the pedals cannot be depressed and the car can't be put into gear. So... my opinion is get the AutoLock instead of The Club. They won't get away with your car unless they put the e-brake down and try to push your car away... or they flatbed it away.

my Club makes a great paper weight. it also serves as a handy weapon in a pinch (even comes with a nice grip and ribbed shaft for your beating pleasure!)

I just picked one up tonight anyone here use the wheel cover? kinda tacky looking plus Im sure no ones going to read it then see some guy trying to mess with the car then read it again for the # then call

ohwell I will try it out tomorrow and will just hope my cars in place when I get back

You seem pretty confident, will to put the Autolock upto the real test and let me remove it in front of your eyes? You going to SBN because I would love to meet you there and show you how ineffectiv eit really is... of course its going to require me to damage it

How can you damage it? It's not really possible. Bullet proof, saw proof, etc.
