Ah... you're a buster! Oh well... rub it in my face... you got the goods to back up the talk.

Nope... I still want a turbocharged GS-R motor... but I don't have the 8 grand I need for it. Haha!

Actually, truth is my old engine went to crap. I blew her up coming home from Puyallup on the freeway. She had 148,000 miles logged. After not driving for 4 months after that, I had to buy a damn DX block 'cause it was all I could afford. Got it from B&K Engines. From Japan with only 20,000 miles on it.

The cost of the engine and the new seals, gaskets, and other parts... as well as the brand new clutch and axles.... plus the labor... it added up to $1,900. It was more than I would have liked to pay, but at least I'm driving again.

Hey while you are at it polishing everything under the hood, If I where you I would take the heat sheld off and take some steel wool to it and shine it up really nicely. I did that to my CRX hehe the onlything I did to the engine in there. It will make it look really nice with the polished valve cover.
Did you polish the valve cover on this just like you did on the accord engine??

Yes i did polished the valve cover like my f22 motor... Plus i polished the dist too... all the same way....

I was thinking about cleaning the header.. But I still want to put my t66 on and run about 7lb boost..... But it's the type-s motor so the compression is 11.0-1.... So i'm going to order a header here soon????
I'v heard the aftermarket header only give's about 1-2 hp wheel's
I'm not spending $500 plus doll's for 1-2 hp.... So I might just polish the jdm header up... At the same time i'll port match it........

Hey accordgirl have you heard any more about when the track open's..
I heard it might open up the 16 or 17 this month... But i'v tryed to call s.i.r. "" picific raceway"""" put no answer......

I'll race and whoop you when I get that turbocharged GS-R motor. 235 hp on tap in a light ass car. Haha... but that's way later. It'll stay in my dreams for now.

The next meet will be April 13th for Hot Import Nights. I haven't posted details yet... but you should expect them to be up some time within a week. Check back at the appropriate link at the top of the page in the Western Forum or click the link in my sig for updates.
