Cool Speakers..Recommendations?

I have an 02 V6 3.0 Passat, which constantly has problems with the factory installed (replaced new twice) speakers. I have had to replace the front l/r side door ones, and the back ones as well. Looking for any recommendations on speakers that I can buy -- to replace the factory installed ones. I'm a novice when it comes to this, and usually hit the dealership for them, but after this consistent problem, wanted to search elsewhere.

P.S. I have the regular stereo system and not the Moonsoon. So, on the side if you can recommend a solid stereo system to replace that as well that would be great too.

Thanks in advance.

Craig

Re: Speakers..Recommendations?

Polk audio are nice and so are boston accoustics. I have had the same Polk audios in my Buick for five years with no problems.

Thumbs up

I've replaced the factory speakers in my 2001 Passat with 6-1/2" 180-watt Pioneer speakers front and back. They sound real nice. I purchased them from Crutchfield Online, however Bestbuy has the same selection and they will do your installation as well.

Good Luck

A common problem is for the radio to cause the speakers to blow. It sends out too much voltage to the speakers and blows them.
