Those radio codes...

Eclipse 2001 Spyder GT. Infinity Radio. After the 3 attempts at entering the code, I failed because I was putting in the wrong code.....It now say "OFF" According to the dealer it is like an hour fix. Anyone know of an easier way to at least get the radio back to the "asking for the code" stage? ( I now have the code.) Pulling the fuse, disconnect the battery? Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Those radio codes...

leave the battery disconected for an hour or so. then try agian. this question has been asked numerous times, so with a little work on your part, you can search the forum and find the answer. just dont bring up any old threads. look, but dont post on old threads.

Sorry....

I did a search and found a couple of replies. They didn't have quite the same issue as mine, and although similar, they didn't get any resolution besides going to the dealer and letting them do it. Thanks for your reply, and your obvious patience.

Re: Those radio codes...

disconnecting the battery for an extended period of time will let you input the code again
