yes it should bolt on, but you'd be better using the b20 block and the b18c head.

isn't the b20b non-vtec just like like the b18a1? what would be the point of this swap. I would assume it would do pretty much nothing. like crxlvr said put a b18c head on a b20 block and you will have a good combo.

I don't know thats why I'm asking!! I dont have a B20B block or a B18C head. I just got a chance to buy a B20B head and was wondering if there was any HP gain??

I didn't mean my post to be rude I don't know much about b20's myself, but putting a non-vtec head on is a waste of money. So the answer is no there will not be any gain and I would not buy the head.

Re: B20B Cylinder head on a B81A1??

if it was the b20z head the dohc vtec model, then it might make sense, but the b18 head prolly flows better to begin with, no use in changing it. if you can get the block, get a b20 block.

No, the B20B head does not flow as good as the B18 head. Most people, if they can't afford a VTEC head for their B20's actually change them out for B18 heads, because the B18 heads flow better and provide better hp figures.

If anything, you'll lose power from swapping a B20 head on to your B18A.
