'58 Bodywork / Hood Seal Problem

I have Hood Seal that has surface rust and needs replacement.

Since the part is cheap, I would rather replace the metal seal.

The part is called a: Hood Seal Metal Channel 43" Long.

While I am at it, I would like to replace the rubber seal for the hood, as well.

Any input on how to remove and replace this parts? What tools and materials will I need?
