Advertising from Academy of Art University, have you got it?

Hello!

Resently, I have been getting some catalouges from Academy of Art University in San Fransisco. I have no idea why, and want to know if you have been getting some catalouges from them. It is pretty thick books, and they can't be cheap to send (I live in Sweden). The thing is, that I am a little bit scared that I have to pay for them. I don't want to know what it will cost...
And where have they got hold of my adress, name and e-mail?
Do I get this because I am a member of this forum?

Thankful for any answers.

Hmmmm.... I haven't received anything like that, bro. But, I'm an old fart.
My best guess is that someone at your school- a teacher or guidance counselor handed your name over to their marketing (recruiting) dept.

Then again, maybe you were profiled from your membership here. If that's accurate, look for some free porno mags in the mail next, eh?

JK.

Hmm. Sounds interesting. I'm from Germany, I can imagine what shipping costs. I haven't received such stuff yet, but I guess thats because you have more skills... be proud of it!
And if you have not agreed with it, you don't have to pay anything.

What is the catalogue about?

I got them a while ago, I applied there too, but then I retracted my application about a month ago.

Thanks for the fast answers, I was kind of nervious for a while...

It was two catalogues, one with all their classes, and one "gallery", with pictures of student art work (I guess), I also got a letter with them, and a small folder today. The catalouge's weight is 3 lbs, according to DHL. Thank god I don't have to pay for shipping...

I was wondering if I had agreed of something I didn't want to, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Thanks again!

And one more thing, I don't think I got them because of my "great" skills, my guess is that I'm in the right age to apply to them.

That's a hell of a commute from Sweden.
