Thumbs down Not satisfied with shocks

Recently I replaced the KYB shocks in my 84 Vette. I was looking for a smoother ride and after much deliberation I opted for the Monroe SensaTrac. At first I felt improvement on smooth surfaces, but went for the bumps for the real test...Result? the car vibrates all over, a bit less than the KYBs, it feels as if there are no shocks at all.
Any suggestion as to how to get a noticeable smoother ride increase?

Re: Not satisfied with shocks

I agree with the statement above regarding Monroe Sensa-Trac struts. Had them installed on my 2000 Ford Taurus. Very dissapointed in the ride/handling quality. Car shakes and vibrates all over when road gets rough. Rear wheels seem to hop around, hard riding with no handling improvement.
Get KYB, Koni, Edelbrock, Bilstein instead. But these are dogs.
