Sunroof/moonroof

I was just curious. The 94 3000gt sl, it has a sunroof/ moonroof whatever. What does this do? Is the top removable? Does the top push back and up like normal sunroofs? I have just thought i heard they were removable or something.... Someone please clarify...

Re: Sunroof/moonroof

Yeah, I have a '94 SL with a sunroof and it's removeable. It doesn't slide back though but does open up when you manually turn this "thingy."

Re: Sunroof/moonroof

There is a little snap thing on the back of it, then it pivots on the front and the whole glass piece pulls off. There is a place in the hatch to store it.

Re: Sunroof/moonroof

its an option, not standard. however I believe any kenwood 6 disk change can be hooked to the stock head unit.

There are "hooks" that the sunroof locks into. It basically sits right below the hatch when its closed and the roof is stored.
