RSX type-s, Civic Si, and Celica GT

So driving back home today from friends house 30 mins or so away, i went the long way home. So as im getting off the freeway a silver RSX type-S just guns it past me, so me being a retard...i catch up while being an asshole to a few other ppl that were driving regularly. ANYWAYS...so its set up...the GST...the RSX...and we are next to each other. I hear the guy downshift, the road is straight, there is no traffic, i downshift to third goin about forty now, bam boost hits and almost simultaneously i hear his engine hitting lift but my front bumper is already at his rear. Pull, pull, pull, pull, 4th...and then he lets off after my rear bumper passes his front. Then he floors it AGAIN...no reason at all. So i catch up once again, and signal to slow down so we can have an even race or something. Guy slows down, smiles, shakes his head, and downshifts and goes. He must have had a few things invested in his car cause it really didnt sound stock....but still...wtf mate?!?! I guess he really wanted to show me that even though I can pull past him after he gets a jump, he is still WAY faster. I proceed to slow down, windows up, put on some nice music, and coast. He proceeds to keep on accelerating and weave through traffic at retarded speeds while cutting people off and acting like a complete asshole...
SO moving on I meet up with a black celica GT with the "action kit" or whatnot that they offer with it. He kept on getting besides me and tries and gets destroyed twice...but i dont know if he was even racing or not. Well, at least he gave the thumbs up and was cool about it, nice guy.
Back on the next freeway goin back home and a blue honda civic Si with A-pillar gauges and what looked like a Greddy catback paces me for a while before getting besides me. We both slow down to about 50 or so, he guns it, and I get ehh, probably 3-4 cars on him. Both thumbs up, cool guy, and the least riced civic that i had seen in a while.
Well thats the end of my day of racing...even tho i wish the damn RSX guy didnt like to do ricer flybys so much so we could actually have a race...baystad. But still kinda wish I had a sleeper-ish car like Rednecks or something so that I can choose the races that I want and suprise people...dont like this turbo wing and stuff that attracts attention. I will just have to accept the fact, that my car will never be a sleeper . Well be careful out there everyone, and dont do flybys cause it makes you look like an idiot ><.

Re: RSX type-s & some other hondas

Cool story. I draw the line at being an asshole to other drivers and endangering people. Hell yeah I'll race but not at the risk of other people. Only myself. Sounds like that first guy you raced didn't care...

Re: RSX type-s & some other hondas

Like I've said before...I wont even race anyone who drives like that. I mean...I can almost see maybe slightly cutting someone off just a little bit to get a light so you can line up with someone...but those kids weaving through traffic going 70, 80mph are seriously fucking stupid. I'll never forget this time this idiot in a cavalier thought he could mess with me..so I saw him in my rearview mirror weaving in and out trying to get up beside me..i was like shit it's a cavalier..I'm not even going to bother. well he rides with me and then takes off, loses control, hits an SUV and smashes into the guard rail. If I would have tried to race him I'd have been in that accident too. and why would you want a sleeper? I have a mustang gt. EVERYONE wants to race a mustang. It keeps things exciting.

Re: RSX type-s & some other hondas

unfortunatly, when not IN the car...I dont really like the idea of street racing in my car at all. I'm beginning to become more and more conservative, so maybe someday soon I'll completely stop racing strangers all together(just with friends of course, hehe). ALSO with a sleeper, you eliminate the majority of dumbasses that try to race because they will just pass your car and think that its a POS and be ignorant. Now when you come across a car you want to race, and the other person knows that your car can be fast because they are quite the enthusiast, then they will take you seriously and you can have some good clean fun...hopefully clean.

Re: RSX type-s & some other hondas

Nice runs scoped...

But why didn't you hit second going 40? That's the hardest pull in my car, in third boost takes a second or two to hit, in second it's there already.

And if ya need someone to take that turbo wing from ya, I'm there lol. My wing's oxidizing like a mofo

Re: RSX type-s & some other hondas

ehhhh, just a guestimation about the forty part. I was concentrated at my car, his car, the road, and slightly my RPM's. It hit around 3.5-4K when i went from third, in fact, since I'm goin out in my car right now, ill check how fast that is and get back to you...

Re: RSX type-s & some other hondas

Let me get this straight...you called a non-turbo civic with tripod A-pillar guages "not riced"? Wow, you must be very lenient...I'm pretty sure it wasn't a turbo civic since a turbo civic would have run with you, and depending on the motor/turbo set-up, may have even wiped the highway with you...good kills nonetheless.
