Where's the Fuel Pump Test Terminal?
... as described in the Tech Manuals?
'96 Tahoe / 5.7 / 4wd / 2dr Understand from their diagnostic guide, that applying B+ to this terminal should result in powering the Fuel Pump. Should tell me if the relay is bad. But the Tech Manual doesn't mention where the terminal is located. Any help? -Schoepmd |

drivers side back by the hinge for the hood. Should be a single red or brown wire. As soon as you put 12v on it your pump should run.

Re: Where's the Fuel Pump Test Terminal?
It should be a red wire. Heres a pic http://www.mhtc.net/~jbomkamp/fuelprime.jpg
The top of the pic is the engine firewall and at the bottom right is the underhood fuse/relay center |
